True Directionality™ reproduces the manner in which low and high frequency sounds are propagated through the auditory system. As a result, sound is perceived as if naturally.
The healthy ear can locate any sound’s direction – be it from the front, back, or the sides – because of the manner in which sound travels around our body, head, and outer ears.
In hearing instruments, microphones substitute the pinna’s ability to filter sound. In BTEs, however, the microphones sit too high on the ear thus impairing the listener’s ability to locate sounds.
True Directionality™ eliminates such confusion, because it reproduces the manner in which low and high frequency sounds are naturally propagated through the auditory system. By keeping low frequency signals audible while maintaining sensitivity to high frequency signals, it allows your client to perceive sound as if naturally.
